TitleCopy letter and memorandum from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor George Carey Foster, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date3 December 1901
DescriptionThere are several applications for grants or exchange for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' and the [Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]' and while it is desirable these should be dealt with, they are not so numerous or important to justify calling together the Library Committee. Suggests collecting the opinions of members of the Committee by means of a memorandum like the one enclosed and then acting in cases in which there is unanimity or practical unanimity. This is a course commonly pursued with the 'Challenger' Committee.

Includes a memorandum detailing requests for various publications from seven institutions.
