DescriptionEncloses a letter from Professor [Salvatore] Calandruccio of Catania [not enclosed] which was accompanied by 17 pamphlets which will also be sent it desired. Sir M Foster desired these to be forwarded to Lankester and asks Lankester to write to him on the matter. The next meeting of Council will be 12 December. Also encloses for information a copy of Lankester's statement of claim to the Darwin Medal on behalf of Professor Grassi [not enclosed].
