Date21 December 1901
DescriptionThe Evolution Committee have presented to the Society a report, submitted to Mr Bateson and Miss Saunders, on experiments undertaken by the authors for the Committee, and the Committee, by resolution, recommend the report for publication in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. The Report is estimated to occupy about 130 pages of the 'Proceedings' and has no illustrations. The regulations governing the situation are contained in Standing Order 48 and Harrison is directed by the Secretaries to ask if, having regard to the Standing Order, Herdman thinks this report ought to go formally before his Committee, or whether Herdman will take the responsibility of asking the Secretaries to concur in recommending it at once for publication.
