DescriptionThe paper by [James Hopwood] Jeans 'the Stability of a Spherical Nebula', upon which Harrison reported some time since was sent to Jeans for amendment in accordance with Love's recommendation and has now been returned. The author states that he has found it necessary to make more amendments than he thinks Love anticipated.

Harrison is sending the paper by this post in accordance with the directions of the Chairman of the Mathematics Sectional Committee, and shall be glad to know whether Love considers that publication of the amended version may now proceed.
