DescriptionSir M Foster has had Bateson's memorandum about Dr [Salvatore] Calandruccio set up in type so that the Society may, when a reply has been received, send it to all the members of the Special Committee. A proof has just been received and Foster thinks Bateson had better look through it before it is sent to Calandruccio. Sends a copy of the French translation and the two pamphlets Bateson asked for, 'Onicuique suum' and 'Leptocephalidae' [not enclosed].
