DescriptionJ S Budgett, M A Balfour Student of the University of Cambridge, is about to proceed to the West Coast of Africa to continue, and possibly complete, the investigations on the development of polyterus and allied fishes. His will probably be travelling up the basin of the Congo, and into Uganda.

The Royal Society have been in touch with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to use his interest with the Belgain Government to secure Budgett''s facilities while he is travelling. President and Council express the hope the Academy is willing to use its influence in the same purpose.
