DescriptionThey have the honour of informing Calandruccio that President and Council have taken into consideration his letters of 25 November 1901 and 18 March 1902 and have made a most careful examination of the various documents he sent. President and Council, while fully recognizing the fact of his collaboration with Professor Grassi in the researches relating to Leptocephali, have concluded that there is no valid reason for making any change in the award of the Darwin Medal of 1896 to Grassi.
