TitleCopy letter from Sir Michael Foster and Joseph Larmor, to Dr Ludwig Mond, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date14 July 1902
DescriptionThe Secretaries have been directed by President and Council to assure Mond that they accept with feelings of the warmest gratitude the most generous offer contained in his letter of 7 July.

His former gift to the great work of the Catalogue made the Royal Society in no small measure his debtor, but the present gift is so great that it is difficult to express appreciation for its value. No effort will be spared to carry on the work of the Catalogue to make it worthy of his help and the Royal Society.
