DescriptionThe following resolutions regarding the possible detention of the 'Discovery' were passed at Council yesterday:

1. As soon as any word is received from Captain Scott, the Royal Society and the Royal Geographical Society will send the 'Morning' to the relief of the 'Discovery' if it is detained in ice, and apply to H M Treasury for the expenses incurred.

2. The Royal Society Officer's, with W Wharton and Captain Tizard, be a Committee to carry the foregoing resolution into effect.
