DescriptionEncloses minutes of the last Council meeting, regarding Professor [William Abbott] Herdman's report on the Ceylon Pearl Fishery [no enclosure]. Presses upon the desirability of urging the Ceylon Government to provide the means of completing the report. Asks that:

1. The Ceylon Government pay the promised £300 for the first two parts of the report.

2. The Ceylon Government provide about £500 towards publishing the last two parts of the work. President and Council will refund the proceeds of the sale of the four parts of the report.
