TitleCopy letter from Sir Michael Foster, to Sir Clements Markham, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date20 June 1901
DescriptionFoster also hopes that there will be no wrangling. The copies of the instructions ought to be distributed to the members of the committee. It is not in their power to make any changes in the instructions, but the Council of the Royal Society think that the committee of six should, if they wish, have an opportunity of deciding whether the appointment of Dr G Murray requires any changes.
