DescriptionOn behalf of the Malaria Committee, Foster states that the work done by Dr Christopher and Dr Stephens in India has been important, and will be published. Stephens through ill health has had to return to England. Foster states that it is most desirable for Christopher to stay on for another six months. The work on reducing or preventing Malaria at the cantonment of Mian Mir is dependent on being carried out during the hot season of July to October where the investigation of the breeding of the particular anopheles responsible.

The extra cost will be £350. If H M Government can supply half, the Royal Society will be pressed to supply the rest.
