| Description | At the request of H M Government, the Royal Society has been engaged in enquiries into the etiology of Malaria and Tsetse Fly disease, and have obtained living specimens of the parasite of the Tsetse Fly disease. It would be desirable to procure from India living specimens of the parasite of the very serious Surra disease, and the Royal Society would like assistance in obtaining this.
The delivery of the Tsetse Fly specimens was effected by inoculation of living animals by a trained medical man, and the same can be done again. Would like assurance that such facilities and assistance may be given to whoever is chosen. Foster suggests Dr Lingard. |
