TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Thomas Andrews, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date24 April 1902
DescriptionAndrews's paper on the 'Effect of Stress on Platinum' has come to hand. Speaking without having consulted the Committee, Larmor says the only difficulty he anticipates is the cost of adequately reproducing the detail in his plates. If Andrews could undertake to get the diagrams printed in an octave plate, he would much console the Treasurer, and the paper could go ahead at once.

Queries column five in the tabular statement. It should be further explained or deleted. He will hear in due course a date for the reading, likely to be 15 May and he will be first.
