TitleCopy letter from Sir Michael Foster, to The Secretary, Foreign Office
Date5 May 1902
DescriptionRegrets that in his letter of 1 May he was incorrect in stating that J S Budgett was travelling to the West Coast of Africa. In fact, in proposes to go to Uganda first to explore the Semliki Valley, where he will be passing from British to Belgian Territory, and thence to the Aruwimi district, unless he finds what he is looking for in the Semliki Valley. From Aruwimi he purposes to return home via the basin of the Congo and the West Coast. He specially desires to have letters of introduction to Captain Guy Burrows in Aruwimi district, if this can be granted to him.
