DescriptionRegarding his paper, after taking reports from the referees, the Sectional Committee have decided to recommend to the Council that the author should recast[?] the paper, so that it may be about half of its present length in view of it being recommended for the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' in the abridged form, with the number of diagrams reduced. If he is happy with this the matter might be put to the Council on 29 May.

Includes typewritten copy of full recommendations of the referees.
