DescriptionRegarding the defective die of the Royal Medal, harrison now has the pleasure to send them the silver medal awarded in 1854 to Sir Joseph Dalton Hooker, who has kindly lent it for the purpose of enabling the Royal Mint to verify the design on the reverse of the die. Requests they take great care of it, and return it at the earliest convenience.
