| Description | Harrison has drawn up a letter to the Education Department in consultation with Mr Teall, and as he lays stress on it reaching them as soon as possible, Harrison has sent it without Foster's signature.
Encloses a draft letter to the Admiralty [no enclosures], and as soon as he gets some notes from Mr Flett as to what assistance should be asked of the Colonial Office, he will draw up a letter to them. Has not heard from the President about a meeting of the Committee, but if it is to meet it should be no later than Monday. If Foster agrees to this, Harrison shall assume the Committee should consist of the names Foster gave, but asks if the President and Dr Thorpe be summoned? |
