DescriptionRegarding Christy's meeting with Mr Towle yesterday, Harrison encloses copies of two Foreign Office letters of 13 May. He will soon send on the formal letter of appointment Christy asked for, and is in communication with the Treasurer regarding financial arrangements.

Letter from the Foreign Office to D J Wilson, Uganda Transport Agent, Mombasa. Informs Wilson that Drs Low, Christy and Castellani are set to leave London on 30 May on the steamer 'Golconda'. Asks that that the authorities in Uganda make all necessary arrangements for their journey.

Letter from the Foreign Office to Lieutenant-Colonel J H Sadler. States that Sadler should arrange for the 'W Mackinnon' to meet the Commissioners who are travelling to Uganda to study sleeping sickness, as they think they should proceed to Entebbe to meet with him and consult with his medical advisors. Dr Low suggests preparing a room for use as a laboratory.
