TitleCopy letter from Sir Michael Foster, to Archdeacon William Sinclair
Date20 June 1902
DescriptionSends thanks for the tickets to the Solemn Thanksgiving Service. Trusts that he will not think the Royal Society ungracious, but the tickets are for unreserved seats, and when the President and Council attended the Jubilee Thanksgiving Service in 1897 they found that there were no seats, and they were placed for a while in a position hardly consistent with the dignity of the Royal Society. So before accepting these tickets, they would like to know if they are for appropriate places.
