DescriptionIs directed by the President [William Huggins] to inform the members of Council that the trustees and faculties of North-Western University, Evanston, Chicago, have requested the Royal Society to appoint one or more Delegates to the installation of the President, Dr Edmund James James. Ceremonies will take place on 19, 20 and 21 October and the President wishes to know if the Council members engagements might permit them to attend as delegates.
