TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to the Under Secretary of State, India Office, S.W.
Date26 September 1902
DescriptionIn reply to the Under Secretary's letter of 13 August, R & S 2144, it was without doubt in the mind of the Observatories Committee, in recommending that the Poona Observatory should be continued until the retirement of the present Director, that the programme of work and establishment might well remain on the present footing. The Committee would be in a very much better position to consider details in consultation with the Director General of Indian Observatories at their meeting in the middle of October.
