TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Francis Darwin, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date6 October 1902
DescriptionThe paper by E M Freeman on 'The Seed-Fungus of Lolium temulentum, L., the Darnel or Poisonous Rye-Grass', is presently at a stand still for the want of of a third referee. A letter was sent to Darwin on 22 September during his absence, giving Darwin the details of the case, but Harrison has received no reply. Harrison proposes writing again to Professor Balfour, and if Balfour agrees, to send the paper to him at once. Queries if Darwin approves this course and will be glad if Darwin will let him know what steps he wishes to rake regarding the paper.
