TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Secretary, Office of the Commissioners of Works & Public Buildings, Storey's Gate, S.W.
Date7 October 1902
DescriptionThe Society has entered into a contract with the General Post Office for a telegraphic service, and in order to connect the Society's apartments with the exchange, a wire must be placed from Piccadilly circus across the area on that side of the building and through the Geological Society. The connection will involve no cutting away or structural alterations. Will be glad if the work will receive the sanction of His Majesty's Commissioners of Works, subject to the consent of the Geological Society, to whom Harrison is applying.
