TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Thomas Muir, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 October 1902
DescriptionHas received Muir''s letter and accompanying 32 slips of titles of papers on determinants. A number of the works quoted from the slips are not in the library, about 13 or 14 slips out of the 32. The remainder the Society has but as they are remote publications they will probably find that in some cases the particular volume required is not forthcoming. One of the junior clerks will do the work this Saturday afternoon and keep an account of the time spent on it.

As there is so considerable a proportion of books referred to which are not in the Society's library, Harrison will not return all the slips until he hears from Muir. Suspects several of the wanted works are not to be found in any London libraries.
