TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Joseph Larmor, Secretary, Royal Society
Date23 October 1902
DescriptionWrote to Professor Cleland sending the illustrations of Dr Gemmil's paper in anticipation of Council's sanction and at the same time said he could have leave of Council to have a copy made of the paper. As the Statute says nothing about paying for the copy, Harrison assumes Council could let Gemmil have a copy at the Society's expense, notes this would cost at least £2.10.0 due to the size of the paper. Authors are recommended to keep copies of their papers and if they do not it hardly seems fair that the Society should bear the expense of furnishing them.
