DescriptionJ S Budgett, Balfour student of the University of Cambridge, has been sent on a scientific mission to Uganda to study the natural history of the peculiar fish Polypterus. Budgett is returning from Uganda by the Nile Valley and is presently in the Sudan. Asks if Wingate can provide further assistance by allowing Budgett a free pass through the Sudan, Budgett will of course pay all his messing expenses. On account of the scientific importance of Budgett's research the Governmnnt Grant Committee of the Royal Society has made Budgett grants from the funds at their disposal.
