DescriptionWith reference to Chrystal's application for the payment of accounts in connection with the publication of the Ben Nevis observations, Harrison is requested by the Treasurer [Alfred Bray Kempe] to say that a grant of £500 was alloted from the Government Publication Grant in 1899 in aid of the issue of the volumes. The Treasurer has signed a cheque for the total grant made, nearly £500, and Harrison encloses this and asks for a receipt.
