TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Baron C E Ramel, Secretary, Swedish & Norwegian Legation, 52 Pont Street, S.W.
Date19 November 1902
DescriptionRamel will doubtless be interested to hear that the Royal Society has this year awarded their Davy Medal to Ramel's distinguished countryman Professor Svante August Arrhenius, on account of his researches in Chemistry. The President and Officers feel that this affords special grounds to hope that Ramel may be able to be present or represented at the distribution of the Medals on 1 December. In the event that Arrhenius is unable to attend, Ramel will receive the medal on his behalf.
