Description | In reply to the Assistant Secretary's letter of today, the only communication we have received from the promoters of the International Chemical Congress is one which was laid before the Council of the Royal Society in June last, requesting the assistance in securing a numerous attendance of representatives from England at the approaching Congress. This letter was referred to Professor Armstrong, Professor J E Reynolds, and the Foreign Secretary, Dr Thorpe, with power to act. Their action has not yet been reported to Council. |
