TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Robert Bellamy Clifton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date4 December 1902
DescriptionThere is presently no business for the Physics and Chemistry Committee other than the formal report of papers having been passed through for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' and confirming the two 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' which are going forward under Standing Order 43 by the authority of Clifton and the Secretaries. If Clifton thinks this formal business ought to be cleared off before Christmas, asks to know a day that will suit for the meeting. Would like to talk to Clifton regarding the day of the meeting of Clifton's Committee as the second Thursday works very awkwardly with the standing meeting of the Officers that the Society wishes to try to establish.
