TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Under Secretary of State for the Colonial Office
Date4 December 1902
DescriptionAcknowledges receipt of the Under Secretary's letter of 2 December, No. 46693/1902, in which the amount in the hands of the Crown Agents standing to the credit of the Malarial Fever Commission is stated. Presumes from nearly £200 being still in the balance of the Crown Agents, that they will not require to draw further upon the grant made to the Royal Society from the Government Grant Committee; but in view of the probability of there being some further publication on the part of the Committee, it may be as well to hold the fund open until these expenses are met.

Regarding the Under Secretary's query, Dr [Samuel Rickard] Stephens, one of the investigators employed by the Committee in the research under reference is not engaged on a general summary of the results of the Commission, results which have already been reported in detail in the several reports which have been issued by the Committee, copies of which have been forwarded to the Colonial Office.
