DescriptionThe Attache's letter of 2 December will be laid before the President and Council of the Royal Society at their next meeting for the purpose of obtaining formal sanction but in the meantime Harrison gives leave to anticipate permission to reproduce Professor Forbes' paper on 'A Portable Range-finder' from the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' volume LXX, in the next 'Annual of the Military Information Division of the United States Army', provided the source from which the paper is reproduced is acknowledged with the publication. The permission of the author must also be obtained.
