TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Israel Gollancz, Ascot-up-Hill
Date9 December 1902
DescriptionThanks Gollancz for his letter of 8 December and shall be glad to have copies of the charter [of the British Academy] as soon as possible. Is sorry that Gollancz has chosen a most unfortunate day for his meeting as the Society's own Council has a meeting next Thursday in the afternoon, followed by a meeting of the Society and he does know where they would find room for Gollancz's Council. Suggests Gollancz enquire of the others Societies in the building which accommodate them. Requests longer period of notice for meetings to be held at the Royal Society.
