DescriptionEncloses a copy of a letter received from the Colonial Secretary's office at Bermuda [not enclosed]. It would be a great advantage to the President and Council to have the views of Bateson's Committee on this, when the letter comes up for consideration on 22 January. Is writing to the same effect to Professor Marshall Ward and Professor Halliburton, the Chairmen of the Botanical and Physiology Committees. Suggests Bateson consult Herdman, the retiring Chairman on the subject.
