DescriptionThe Royal Society working in conjunction with His Majesty's Government, is conducting an investigation into Sleeping Sickness which has broken out in a serious form in Uganda. The Committee investigating the matter has had its attention called to a report on the disease sent to the Portuguese Minister of Marine by the Scientific Committee sent to study the disease in West Africa, of which a somewhat imperfect translation has appeared in an English medical journal. Queries if the Marquis can obtain the original document for use by the Committee.
