TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr John William Watson Stephens, [Fellow of the Royal Society], School of Tropical Medicine, Liverpool
Date6 January 1903
DescriptionSir Michael Foster has gone abroad for a week and before going asked Harrison to write to Stephens regarding the full report Stephens has sent in on his Malaria work. Foster asked Harrison to say that Stephens has apparently somewhat misapprehended the nature of the report the committee desired; Stephens' report is unnecessarily detailed and repeats material already published. The Committee want a much briefer account of the whole of Stephens and Dr Christopher's work, leaving out details given in previous reports. The object of the report is to give the Colonial Office a statement which they can distribute to the several Colonies, of the general results accomplished by the Commission. Asks Stephens to condense what he has sent in, returned herewith [not enclosed] and send it in as soon as possible.
