| Description | Regarding the letter from the Acting British Commissioner at Entebbe, Foster has the following points to make:
1. The statement on Dr Castellani's health is disquieting, since it is very important that Lieutenant Colonel David Bruce sees him to obtain information, so as not to repeat his work and lose time.
2. It is hoped that Castellani's ill health is only temporary, but if he is forced to leave, then he must leave behind all his notes and materials.
3. Requests the Commissioner telegraph at once if Castellani is forced to leave.
4. Bruce is scheduled to leave England on 12 February, and his plan is to travel by the Peninsular and Oriental steamer as far as Aden, there to trans-ship into a British India steamer for Mombasa. |
