TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to, Dr W Meijer, The Hague
Date21 February 1903
DescriptionHarrison is unable to explain the 'R S' in the corner of the Spinoza letter about which Meijer enquires. Perhaps it is meant to be Spinoza's initials. The marginal notes are those on the first and second pages of the letter beginning Librum igeniosissimi. These are pencil notes, queries and criticisms. These may be in Boyle's hand, but it is difficult to speak with certainty. The Latin version of the Tract on Fluidity seems not to have been published for several years later, but Spinoza may have had a manuscript copy. Harrison does not know Alfred Morrison.
