DescriptionAcknowledges the receipt of the damaged packet accompanied by letters from the Government Entomologist at Cape Town, and also a second letter from Mr Malley with Skinner's note upon it dated 18 April, and a registered packet addressed to Lieutenant Colonel [David] Bruce. Harrison is dealing with the packets in accordance with the instructions of the Royal Society's Committee on whose behalf Bruce obtained the specimens referred to.
