TitleCopy letter from Sir Michael Foster to, Professor Frederick Orpen Bower, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date22 May 1903
DescriptionThe Botany Sectional Committee has had his paper 'Studies in the Morphology of spore-producing Members. No V. General Comparisons and Conclusions' under careful consideration, but feel they cannot recommend it for 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' in its present form. It is very long, and repetitive, and they request whether Bower would be prepared to revise the paper with a view to a material abridgement of its length.
