TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to, The Secretary, Jenner Institute of Preventative Medicine
Date25 May 1903
DescriptionHarrison understands that the two monkeys which have been sent over from Uganda by Lieutenant Colonel David Bruce, one inoculated from the blood and one from the Cerebro-spinal fluid of Sleeping Sickness cases, have now arrived at the Jenner Institute. Asks if they will take charge of them and allow Dr Castellani to make examinations of these animals on behalf of the Committee. If they should prove to be infected, it would be very desirable if material from them were distributed among other laboratories for examination.
