TitleCopy letter from Sir Michael Foster to, Major [Ronald] Ross, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 May 1903
DescriptionThe communication from the Colonial Office regarding Sierra Leone was received on 25 May, and so was not circulated to the Committee. The enclosures are to be considered private and confidential. They cannot therefore be spoken of as 'publicly read to the members of the Committee'. They were communicated in order to enable the Royal Society to decide on the proposals laid before them. The report of the Committee was adopted by President and Council yesterday, and Foster is writing to the Colonial Office. Ross's letter will of course be laid before the Committee.
