TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to W Carrick Anderson
Date10 July 1903
DescriptionThinks the Physics Committee were quite willing to consider an improved edition of Anderson's paper with a view to publication. But as they seem to have been under the impression that Anderson was working with Professor Miers, they thought the best course was to await his return. As things stand the main objection is the great expense of the illustrations. Does not doubt that the Committee would accept the paper for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' revised in accordance with the referee's suggestions and accompanied by six figures. To save time the manuscript and figures are returned herewith [not attached] but the Society would like to have them back as they keep all papers that are read. The original negatives would be required for reproduction.
