TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Christy, Liverpool
Date20 July 1903
DescriptionIs directed by the Committee of the Royal Society to inform Christy that his letter of the 14 July was before them at their meeting last week with the report which Christy titled 'Summary of Report No 1 (Preliminary) dated October 31st 1902, Entebbe, Uganda'. After consideration of the report and the document enclosed in Christy's letter of 31 October 1902 to Sir M Foster, and which purports to be summarized in the report under reference, the Committee decided to publish the original document received at the Society last December and described by Christy in his covering letter as brief notes dealing with the most important part of his work up to date. This will be published with the maps which accompanied it, Christy will see proofs.

Christy's letter of 30 June forwarding a claim for increased allowances for maintenance et cetera in Uganda and for recoupment of expenses incurred on his way home, was laid before the Committee who decided to forward the claim to the Foreign Office with a request for favorable consideration.
