TitleCopy letter from Alfred Bray Kempe, to S B Keen
Date17 June 1903
DescriptionIs afraid there has been considerable delay in dealing with the question of Keen's annual fee for assisting in the audit of the Royal Society accounts. Council clearly sees that the fee of £10.10.0 Keen has hitherto been receiving is quite inadequate and it would prefer to have a fixed annual fee rather than one depending on the actual times during which Keen and his Clerk would be engaged. Council suggests the fee be increased to £25 commencing from the last payment. Shall be glad to hear if this is satisfactory.
