Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Michael Foster, Globe Hotel, Hunstanton |
Date | 22 July 1903 |
Description | Had Foster's letter this morning and will send any proofs ready this afternoon. Explains why he feels some difficulty about the publication of the Sleeping Sickness reports from Bruce, Low, Christy and Castellani. Would like Foster to consider how they should arrange the sequence and description of the series. The proof Harrison is sending of Foster's report is the only one the Society have, and since it will have to be revised, Harrison hopes Foster will do this. There has to also be a note to meet Castellani's complaint in the letter enclosed [not enclosed].
Christy writes today to Foster to ask whether the Royal Society should have any objection to his reading a short note in connection with the distribution of Sleeping Sickness in Uganda, at the approaching meeting of the British Medical Association next week. Harrison is writing to him that his application is being submitted to the Chairman of the Committee. |
