TitleCopy letter from Alfred Bray Kempe, to Sir Ford North, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date28 July 1903
DescriptionHarrison has shown Kempe the correspondence that he has had with North regarding his subscription. Discusses the subscriptions due from the Privy Councillor class of Fellows. Harrison knew that is was never intended to reduce the Privy Councillor's subscription from £4 to £3, and assuming that they were still covered by the exception, continued the regular practice of the office. Harrison is sending North a copy of the current statutes from which he will see that the wording of Statute I of Chapter II remains unchanged except in the reference to the numbers of the statutes referred to.
