TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Professor Henry Edward Armstrong, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date30 July 1903
DescriptionMr White has shown Larmor Armstrong's suggestion of printing index numbers in Armstrong's 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' paper. Thinks no one would understand about it without explanation. The general question of avoiding index slips by printing such descriptions in front of the papers is one for Council. In the meantime Larmor has left Armstrong's brief description in brackets to be put in print[?] in small type but without the index number.
