DescriptionClifton's letter with two returned letters from Professor Mallet and Professor Lamb, were received this morning. Regarding Mallet's paper, this will be kept by till Dr [Joseph] Larmor returns, as the Society can do nothing until Larmor sees Clifton's letter, the paper and other documents. The Society did not send out the manuscript to the author.

Regarding Lamb's paper, this will now go forward. The cover was originally marked P C Committee, and not afterwards altered.

Regarding Aitken's paper, Dr Russell wrote to White and has now seen this, and has today sent it to press.

Regarding Makower and Noble, and Travers and Fox's papers, these have now been with the first referee, Professor Callendar, since 8 July.
